Alfred Palmer was my great-great-great grandfather. My family has letters that his brother wrote to him during the Civil War's Battle of Mobile and a notorlized letter granting Alfred the possession of a man named Stephen as a worker for 11 months during 1881. There is probably other stuff, but I have read those documents.

Hello Martha
I found your site while researching my husbands ancestors. Queen Kunigunde of Italy. Love to share history.

I am tracing my husbands family and am stuck at Lawrence Campbell who was born I think in Scotland 1735 and passed 10/17/1814 in Amherst. I know he was the executor of Henry Campbells will and was wondering if you knew more about Lawrence

Hello, thank you for sharing information on the Herron family. My dad's family are scattered from South Carolina to California. Would like to hear from other Herron family members.

Hi Martha! Great website and photos are fabulous. I am researching the Cobb/Shelby line. I have seen many of the headstones in the Confederate Cemetery in Jemison, AL while attending family reunions as a child. I'll make another trip there soon. Thanks, Jamise

Greetings,
I'm a Herron, just climbing the trees, or trying to at least. You have a nice site here. I can tell you have put in many hours and it shows. Good luck, maybe we will meet on a limb some day.
